Terms and conditions

Products:  We may provide some flowers in a budded state to prevent damage during transportation.  Wedding and funeral flowers may be delivered in an open state and are therefore very delicate.  On receipt should be treated as delicate and their condition checked before signing the delivery sheet.

Some flower material may be harmful and none are intended for consumption.  For further information on poisonous and irritant flowers please contact us.

 

Website:   All product photographs found on the website are intended for guidance only and product content may vary.  Green Island always aims to supply what the client requests but flower materials are seasonal and are subject to availability, therefor on occasion substitutions may be made.

All photographs found on the website are subject to copyright and reproduction of the images is strictly forbidden without the prior consent of Green Island Floristry.

 

Refunds and exchanges:  General:  Due to the perishable nature of our products we request that any complaints be made within 24hrs of receipt.  If the product is deemed fit for purpose and as stated on the order sheet then no refunds will be given.  Wedding, funeral and sympathy products:  These products are delivered fit for purpose and must be checked prior to signing for them so that any problems may be rectified where possible.

 

Weddings:  A booking fee of £30 is payable at the time of booking.  This secures the day  of the wedding only.  This booking fee will be deducted from the cost of the wedding but is non refundable on cancellation.  The full amount must be paid on or before 1 calendar month prior to the wedding or at time of booking if it is within 1 calendar month of the wedding day.  No flower materials are ordered until payment is made and funds cleared therefore, if no payment is made then Green Island Floristry reserves the right to cancel the wedding contract without any refund.  Changes may be made up to 1 calendar month before the wedding unless stated otherwise and changes after this date are at our discretion.

 

Sympathy:  Full payment  must be made at the time of ordering.  

 

Deliveries:  Deliveries may be subject to a charge and are not available on Sundays or Bank holidays unless stated otherwise.  

All funeral deliveries will be delivered on or before a pre-arranged time.  In event of us being unable to deliver as arranged, we will attempt to contact the client if we are not able to contact either the recipient or the client and no further information is given to enable delivery then we will not offer a refund unless we deem failure to deliver to be our fault.

General deliveries:  We cannot guarantee a delivery time but will where possible try to meet specific requests.  No refunds will be given for delivery unless we deem any failure to be our fault.
